A woman was arrested in a police anti-narcotics operation late afternoon of Aug. 25, 2020 in Molo, Iloilo City.
Jocelyn Tabucan, 29, got netted in the buy-bust operation at Barangay West Habog-Habog, at around 5:30 pm Tuesday after she allegedly sold illegal drugs for P20,200 to an undercover cop.
Members of the PNP Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and Molo Police Station recovered from Tabucan eight plastic sachets with an estimated value of P30,000 and the marked money.
The suspect is a mother of five.
Authorities believed that Tabucan got her illegal drugs supply from an associate of her husband who is now detained for an illegal drugs case.
Meanwhile, joint elements of RPDEU and Jaro Police Station also arrested Jeric See, 30, of Barangay Benedicto, Jaro.
The suspect allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police undercover agent.
The two suspects are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
