Woman electrocuted in Roxas City

ROXAS CITY, Capiz- A 50-year-old woman died after she was electrocuted outside her house Wednesday morning at Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Cabugao, Roxas City.
Police identified the victim as Andrea Eribal of said place.
Investigation by the Roxas City Police Station indicated that Arnel Marcelino, who was driving a tricycle, found Eribal lying on the road and no longer breathing.
The family believed that the victim was electrocuted after the open wiring of the nearby streetlight touched the barbed fence where the victim was standing.
Eribal was taken to Capiz Doctor’s Hospital but she was declared dead on arrival by the attending doctor.
