Woman dead, brother-in-law injured in electrocution

BACOLOD City – A woman died while her brother-in-law was wounded after they were accidentally electrocuted at a public terminal in Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental last Sunday.
Police identified the fatality as Mary Chris Constancio, 32, of Barangay Lemery.
Wounded was Alven Calago, 28, also of Barangay Lemery.
Based on police investigation, the victims were trying to hire a motorcycle on their way home when Constancio accidentally touched a steel post with a live wire.
Her brother-in-law tried to save her but he was also electrocuted.
Constancio suffered serious injuries, while Calago sustained minor injuries on his left palm.
Both victims were brought to Calatrava Municipal Hospital, but Constancio was declared dead.
