With blood dripping from his shorts, a 47-year-old man appeared at the Makato Police Station late afternoon of January 1, 2021.
Bong (not his real name) claimed that he was attacked by his former live-in partner.
And of all places, the woman, identified only as Inday, allegedly bit his testicles or balls.
Staff Sergeant Ruel Montuya, Makato police investigator, said the woman went to his boarding house where they had a fight.
The two had already called it quits recently.
The woman, who was older than Bong, accused him of having another woman.
Their confrontation went physical until Inday pushed Bong, who lost his balance and slumped on the pavement.
The woman then pulled down his shorts and bit his scrotum.
It took two hours for the man to report the incident to police authorities.
Montuya said they don’t expect serious damage to Bong’s testicles following the “biting” incident.
In the past, Inday had also accused Bong of physically hurting her.
“It appears that both of them have been physical whenever they had fights,” Montuya said.
Bong has no plans of pursuing any criminal case against Inday and suggested that they resolve the case through the barangay justice system.
