ROXAS City, Capiz – A 40-year-old woman was arrested Thursday afternoon in a drug bust operation conducted by Pontevedra Station Drug Enforcement Team and President Roxas Municipal Police Station in Barangay Bailan, Pontevedra, Capiz.
The police identified the suspect as Irma Cayote, 40, of said place.
Recovered from the suspect were nine sachets of suspected shabu; P1,500 marked money, and a cellphone.
Police estimated the weight of the seized drugs at 3 grams and valued at P13,000.
The suspect is presently detained at the Pontevedra Municipal Police Station while charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 are readied against her.
