Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, the acclaimed New York-based fine dining restaurant, is set to open its first branch in Iloilo at Megaworld’s Iloilo Business Park this year.
The new location marks the second outside Metro Manila and the fourth within a Megaworld township, signaling continued expansion in the Philippines.
Located along Megaworld Boulevard in the 72-hectare township, the Iloilo branch will serve the steakhouse’s signature 28-day dry-aged USDA Prime steaks, grilled specialties, seafood dishes, appetizers and desserts.
The restaurant will also feature an alfresco dining area and a bar offering signature cocktails and curated wine selections.
“This will be the second branch in Western Visayas following the opening of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Bar and Grill in Boracay Newcoast last year,” Megaworld said in a press release.
It will be designated as the brand’s “Patrimony Store”—a tribute to founder Wolfgang Zwiener and his son Peter, who helped transform the restaurant into a globally recognized name.
“We are thrilled to welcome Wolfgang’s Steakhouse to Iloilo Business Park as we add yet another exciting dimension to the township’s vibrant dining scene,” said Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
“As we continue to elevate the culinary landscape in Iloilo, we look forward to introducing more exceptional restaurants and cafés from across the country and around the world,” he added.
Wolfgang’s Steakhouse, founded in 2004 by former Peter Luger head waiter Wolfgang Zwiener, has grown to over 30 locations in major cities worldwide, including in the United States, Japan, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.
In the Philippines, the brand has become a destination for steak enthusiasts, with locations in Pasay City, Boracay, and soon in Taguig and Iloilo.
Megaworld has positioned Iloilo Business Park as a premier business and lifestyle destination in the Visayas, featuring a mix of residential condominiums, office towers, retail centers, and hotels.
The addition of Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is part of the township’s broader effort to attract global dining brands and raise Iloilo’s profile as a culinary hotspot.
