WINS THROUGH PEOPLE-CENTERED GOVERNANCE TO HIGHLIGHT MAYOR RAISA’S SOCA TODAY

ILOILO CITY — Beyond the accomplishments, milestones and recognitions earned by the city government, Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas’ second State of the City Address (SOCA) today, Oct. 26, will put the spotlight on how people-centered governance translates into meaningful progress and pag-atipan for every Ilonggo.
With the theme “Ilonggo: Sentro sang Progreso kag Serbisyo,” the address will focus on the city government’s efforts to improve public service delivery and promote inclusive development through programs that respond to the needs of Ilonggos.
These initiatives are anchored on the expanded Rise-to-Action Framework, which guides the implementation of programs across key sectors, including livelihood and employment, health, education, social services, environment, peace and order, and infrastructure.
The framework’s expansion reflects the administration’s efforts to broaden its programs and strengthen service delivery through leadership, hard work and people’s participation.
Treñas is also expected to highlight the city government’s achievements and recognitions from various award-giving bodies, as well as partnerships with organizations supporting its public service initiatives.
The administration’s programs underscore pag-atipan, or its commitment to caring for Ilonggos through accessible services, meaningful interventions and opportunities that support their well-being.
Through the SOCA, the city government will present its continuing efforts to address community needs and advance its vision of a more inclusive, responsive and progressive Iloilo City.
The address will emphasize how the city’s accomplishments translate into better services, expanded opportunities and improvements in the lives of residents. (Press Release)
