After an impressive seventh-round knockout victory over Australian boxing star Jason Moloney, it’s now up to Naoya “Japanese Monster” Inoue to make the dream fight happen.
Filipino boxing sensation Johnriel Casimero has been patiently waiting for the monster to be unleashed and with the outcome of the fight, the supposed bout six months ago would likely push through.
“It took the Turtle (Inoue) a long time to catch a fish (Moloney), both of them are from the sea, weak creatures,” said Casimero.
Frustrated with Top Rank Promotions for not letting their highly-anticipated match materialize, Casimero began to throw shade at Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum and Inoue’s camp, saying that they’re afraid of him and won’t let the Japanese get his first taste of defeat.
“They said you’re strong but you were not even able to hurt your opponent. Guys, now you know why Bob Arum and Inoue are afraid. Only Quadro de Alas (Casimero) is strong,” continued Casimero.
However, Inoue quieted doubters after indicating that he was willing to fight Casimero as soon as he completes his match with Moloney.
