Will Ashley, Mika Salamanca headline GMA MassKara events

BACOLOD CITY — GMA Regional TV is bringing the cast of its upcoming light drama Delivery Boi to Bacolod on Oct. 17 as part of its activities for the 2026 MassKara Festival.

The Kapuso Mall Show at the SMile Strip of SM City Bacolod will be led by 49th Gawad Urian Best Supporting Actor Will Ashley, joined by fellow Sparkle artists and Delivery Boi co-stars Yasser Marta, Vince Maristela and Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition Big Winner Mika Salamanca.

Their Bacolod appearance comes two days before Delivery Boi premieres on GMA Afternoon Prime, giving MassKara audiences an early look at the ensemble behind the new series.

GMA Regional TV will extend its MassKara coverage on Oct. 18 with a livestream of the MassKara Dance Arena Competition under the title “MassKara Festival 2026: The GMA Regional TV Ratsada Balita Special Coverage.”

The livestream will begin at 1:30 p.m. and will be carried on GMA Regional TV’s YouTube and social media accounts, GMA News’ YouTube channel, the Ratsada Balita Facebook page and the GMA Regional TV microsite.

Premiering Oct. 19, Delivery Boi marks Ashley’s first lead-role project as he takes on Boi, a delivery rider whose story reflects the sacrifices of Filipinos working to support their families.

Boi faces the everyday struggles of earning a living while providing for his loved ones, but the series also presents the delivery rider as one of today’s modern heroes who brings convenience and service directly to customers.

As Boi moves from one delivery to another, encounters with people along the road shape his outlook while he continues working toward a deeply personal goal of one day meeting his biological father.

The series centers on the idea that simple acts of kindness can improve people’s lives while reflecting the determination of Filipinos who put in blood, sweat and tears in pursuit of their dreams.

Joining Ashley in the cast are Mikoy Morales, Keempee De Leon, Meryl Soriano, Maricar De Mesa, Gio Alvarez and Eric Quizon.

The ensemble also includes Angellie Sanoy, Juharra Asayo and Baninay Bautista.

Delivery Boi will air Mondays through Fridays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Network and will also be available through Kapuso Stream and the GMA Play app.

Viewers outside the Philippines can watch the series through GMA Pinoy TV.

The MassKara appearances place the new show within one of Bacolod’s biggest annual celebrations, using the festival’s crowds and cultural energy as a stage for the cast ahead of the program’s television debut.
