FAIR. Diligent. Principled.
These are some of the traits that Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. wants the next provincial police director to posses.
Defensor confirmed that Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan, Western Visayas’ police director, submitted to him the names of the three police officials who will replace Col. Marlon Tayaba at the Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO).
They are Police Colonels Policarpio Cayabyab, Juel Neil Salcedo, and Roland Alonzo Vilela.
Defensor said he requested for additional documents before he appoints the new provincial police chief.
The governor said he will also conduct background checks on the candidates as well as their performance from their previous assignments.
