In the upcoming gradual roll-out of PhilSys Step 2 registration in Region 6 tentatively this February 2021, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) emphasizes to the individuals interviewed during PhilSys Step 1 registration the necessary supporting documents to be brought to the LGU-based registration centers.
Step 1 Registration is the house-to-house collection of demographic information of individuals and scheduling of their appointments to the registration center. Meanwhile, Step 2 registration is the validation of supporting documents and the capture of biometric information such as front-facing photograph, fingerprints, and iris scan.
For Filipino citizens, they shall present at least one (1) valid and original copy of the following supporting documents as shown in table below.
However, registrants are encouraged to bring PSA-issued Certificate of Live Birth AND one (1) government-issued ID, if possible, for the counterchecking of data collected during the Step 1 Registration.
The table below shows the following accepted supporting documents to be brought to the registration center:

Registrants must also bring their appointment slips indicating the place and schedule of their Step 2 registration.
If the registrant lost his/her appointment slip, the registrant must present the text or email message to the PhilSys personnel containing his/her appointment reference number (ARN), schedule, and venue of registration.
With the new schedule of Step 2 Registration, the registrants will be duly informed of their new schedules via SMS or email message.
