Western Visayas’ top wanted man arrested in Iloilo City
In its continued effort to bring fugitives to justice, operatives of Iloilo City Police Station 8 (ICPS 8) arrested the region’s top most wanted person around 11:54 a.m. on Aug. 20, 2025, in Barangay Cubay, Jaro, Iloilo City. The suspect, identified only as alias “Rex,” is 54 years old and a resident of Iloilo City.

In its continued effort to bring fugitives to justice, operatives of Iloilo City Police Station 8 (ICPS 8) arrested the region’s top most wanted person around 11:54 a.m. on Aug. 20, 2025, in Barangay Cubay, Jaro, Iloilo City.
The suspect, identified only as alias “Rex,” is 54 years old and a resident of Iloilo City.
He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for murder issued by the Regional Trial Court in Iloilo City on Dec. 28, 2020, with no bail recommended.
Police Brig. Gen. Jose Dino Ligan, regional director of Police Regional Office 6, commended ICPS 8 for the successful arrest.
“Police Regional Office 6 will never stop chasing wanted criminals until justice is served for their victims,” Ligan said.
“We also appeal to the public to immediately report any suspicious activities in your communities,” he added.
The suspect is currently under the custody of ICPS 8 for proper disposition.
