BACOLOD CITY – Police arrested a 23-year-old laborer wanted for attempted murder at his home in Barangay Vista Alegre, Ilog, Negros Occidental, on Monday.
Authorities identified the suspect as alias “Archie.”
The arrest warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City on March 4, 2024, with bail set at PHP 120,000 for his provisional liberty.
Police Major Randy Babor, Ilog police chief, said the Police Regional Office 6 had tagged the suspect as the third most wanted person in Western Visayas and the second most wanted at the municipal level.
Babor, who is newly assigned to the town, said he was not familiar with the details of the case, which occurred several years ago.
