Western Visayas’ most wanted teen nabbed for rape

A 15-year-old fugitive tagged as the most wanted person in Western Visayas was arrested on the afternoon of Oct. 8 in San Lorenzo, Guimaras.

Alias Toto, a resident of Lambunao, Iloilo, was arrested for rape by carnal knowledge under Article 266-A, Paragraph 1(d) of the Revised Penal Code.

A court in Janiuay, Iloilo, issued the arrest warrant on Sept. 20, 2025.

Authorities said Toto had gone into hiding in Barangay Igcawayan, San Lorenzo, where he was eventually located and apprehended.

The arrest was carried out by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)–Guimaras Field Unit, in coordination with the Regional Intelligence Unit 6–Provincial Intelligence Team Guimaras and the Provincial Highway Patrol Team Guimaras.

The child in conflict with the law (CICL) was turned over to the Lambunao Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) for proper case disposition.
