ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two senior citizens wanted for different crimes were arrested in separate operations Monday.
Gilbert Bingelo, 60, was collared by the police at his house in Barangay Goce, President Roxas, Capiz.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by Judge Hannibal R. Patricio of the 1st Municipal Circuit Trial Court President Roxas-Pilar, Capiz on February 26, 2021.
Bingelo is facing charges for violations of RA 9175 (Act Regulating the Ownership, Possession, Sale, Importation and Use of Chain Saw).
A P25,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, the Roxas City police collared a 69-year-old man for two counts of attempted homicide at Brgy. Talon here.
Lamberto Gregorio, 69, of Sitio Ipil Brgy. Talon did not resist when served the warrant for his arrest issued by Judge Jennie Ann Logronio of MTCC Branch 1 here.
A P36, 000 bail for each count, or a total of P72,000, was recommended for his temporary liberty.
