Wanted persons arrested

ROXAS CITY, Capiz— The No. 7 most wanted person in Tapaz, Capiz was arrested by the police Saturday.

The Tapaz police led by Police Captain Bryant Fallera and Regional Mobile Force 6 under the supervision of Police Captain Herman Magbanua caught Artemio Gapasinao, 59, of Sitio Balay, Brgy. Agpalali in Tapaz.

Judge Judith Orendain-Tonogbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 20 in Mambusao, Capiz issued Gapasinao’s arrest warrant for murder charges with no bail recommended. He is presently detained at the police station of Tapaz.

Meanwhile, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-Capiz) and President Roxas police also nabbed a wanted person facing sexual abuse charges.

Noel Arostique was arrested at the house of a relative in Brgy. Ungka Uno, Pavia, Iloilo.

Arostique believed to be a former security aide of President Roxas town Mayor Receliste Escolin.

Arostique was charged for sexually abusing a relative of the mayor.

Judge Esperanza Isabel Poco-Deslate of Regional Trial Court Branch 14 issued the warrant of arrest against the suspect on Oct 1, 2019.

A P120,000 bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
