‘Wanted person’ nabbed in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A “wanted person” in Western Visayas and Maayon, Capiz was arrested Sunday afternoon at Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Maayon.

The police identified the suspect as Jericho Derramas, 21, of Brgy. Alayunan Maayon town.

Derramas is facing 3 counts of qualified rape. He went into hiding after his victim filed the case against him.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Judge Eric Anthony Dumpilo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14 in Roxas City on August 14, 2023.
