ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police on Wednesday the No. 4 most wanted person in President Roxas, Capiz after hiding for about nine years.
The 1st Capiz Provincial Mobile Force Company, President Roxas and San Dionisio Municipal Police Station in San Dionisio, Iloilo nabbed Apollo Celeste Villanueva, 50, of Brgy. Santo Nino, President Roxas town 4 pm Wednesday at Barangay Moto, San Dionisio.
Police Captain Rachelle Garnica, President Roxas PNP chief, said the suspect was not able to flee after he was cornered by the operatives.
Villanueva is facing murder and frustrated murder raps.
The warrant for his arrest was issued by then Roxas City Regional Trial Court Branch 16 Judge Delano Villaruz on May 11, 2011.
Villanueva is presently detained at President Roxas PNP.
