BACOLOD City – An alleged member of the New People’s Army (NPA), wanted for two crimes was arrested in Barangay Tan-awan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental last Friday.
Police identified the suspect as Remark Kisan, 27, of Barangay Carabalan, Himamaylan City.
According to the police, Kisan is an alleged courier and tour duty officer of Sentro De Gabridad (SDG) Platoon, Mount Cansermon Command, Central Negros 2.
Policemen and military troopers served Kisan an arrest warrant for murder with no bail recommended issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 55 in Himamaylan City dated March 22, 2022.
The following day, police also served him another arrest warrant for attempted murder with no bail recommended issued by the same court on March 22, 2022.
