ROXAS CITY – A wanted man charged for violation of Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act or Anti-Child Abuse Law) was arrested Sunday afternoon in Barangay Poblacion Norte, Ivisan, Capiz.
Now detained at Ivisan Municipal Police Station was Renato Facundo, 26, of Pobalcion Norte.
Acting Presiding Judge Faustino Valenzuela Roxas Jr. of the Regional Trial Court Branch 14 in Roxas City, Capiz issued the arrest warrant on Nov 11, 2021.
The court recommended a P80,000 bail for Facundo’s temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, two persons were allegedly caught engaging in illegal cockfighting at Sitio Puntod in Brgy. Dinginan, Roxas City.
Police identified the suspects as Romie Avisan Alimen, 40, a construction worker from Brgy. Bolo, Roxas City; and Michael Delco Bibit, 32, of Brgy. Yatingan, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Recovered from the suspects were P1,000 bet money, two cockfighting cocks and a sling bag.
