BACOLOD City – Two persons, including a village councilor, died after two motorcycles collided at Sitio Plasanon, Barangay Salong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
Killed in the accident were Kagawad Larry Fernando 53, of Barangay Inapoy; and Ferdinand Tanguar, 19, of Barangay 2.
A report from Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) said that the two motorcycles collided when they occupied the middle lane.
Fernando was on his way to the city proper from Barangay Inapoy when the collision happened.
Both victims were taken to Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital, where they later died from their injuries.
