Village councilor killed in motorcycle mishap

BACOLOD City – A barangay official was killed in a motorcycle accident along Circumferential road in Barangay Taculing here yesterday.

Police identified the victim as Edgar Cepeda, 50, kagawad of Barangay 41 here.

Based on police investigation, the victim hit a coconut tree beside the road while traveling from north to south direction.

He suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.

Police believed that the victim may have been speeding.
