BACOLOD City – A woman was arrested for possessing P102,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Oringao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental yesterday.
The subject was identified as Angie Cortez, 45, a vendor in the said village. She is a street-level individual, according to the police.
Police confiscated from her 15 grams of suspected shabu, the P600 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
Police Lieutenant Colonel John Joel Batusbatusan, city police chief, said the suspect was arrested for the same offense in 2016.
But she was released from jail probably through plea bargaining, according to Batusbatusan.
