BACOLOD City – A vendor was killed by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle along Galo-Ramos Street, Barangay 19 last Wednesday.
Major Charles Gever, head of Police Station 4, said Raymart Indino, 29, of Barangay 22, expired at Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) here two hours after the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m.
Gever said Indino was sitting in front of his store when the gunmen arrived and shot him.
The victim succumbed to six gunshot wounds. The perpetrators fled.
Police recovered from the scene bullet slugs believed to be from a .45-caliber pistol.
Gever said they are exploring all possible angles behind the killing.
He initially said that Indino’s wife had debts, but they were not sure if it really had something to do with the killing.
He said they are still doing a background check on the victim.
