BACOLOD City – A man died in a multiple vehicular collision at Hacienda Leonor, Barangay Fabrica, Sagay City, Negros Occidental last Thursday.
The victim was identified as Errol Panilagan, 51, of Barangay Poblacion 1.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Indiape Jr., Sagay police chief, said that Panilagan, who was driving a van, allegedly hit the rear part of a truck that he was tailing.
Another van loaded with some passengers that was tailing Panilagan also hit the latter’s vehicle.
Panilagan was taken to a hospital but he later passed away. No other injuries were reported, according to Indiape.
Indiape said that there was an initial settlement among the three parties.
