Vaccines for aviation security forces

Personnel of the Iloilo Airport Police Station under the Aviation Security Unit (AVSEU)-6 will get vaccinated against COVID-19 thanks to the assistance of the Iloilo City government headed by Mayor Jerry Treñas. On July 14, 2021, Iloilo City COVID-19 task force spokesperson Jeck Conlu turned over 46 vax tickets to AVSEU-6 headed by officer-in-charge Lt. Col. Peter Madria and to the Iloilo Airport Police Station chief Maj. Ismael Gandarosa at the Iloilo airport in Cabatuan, Iloilo.
The tickets will be used by airport police officers who will receive their first jab of the COVID-19 vaccines distributed by the city government.
The airport police force is considered a frontliner in the fight against COVID-19 as they help implement quarantine protocols at the Iloilo airport.
