USA celebrates 4 topnotchers in 2025 board exams

The University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City celebrated a series of board exam triumphs in 2025, with graduates placing among the topnotchers in four different professional licensure examinations—highlighting the institution’s consistent academic excellence.

This year’s top performers include Franz Matthew Owen Gonzalez Legarde, RPh, who placed 10th with a rating of 90.95% in the April 2025 Pharmacists Licensure Examination.

His feat followed the strong 2024 performance of the College of Pharmacy and Medical Technology, which produced three topnotchers and ranked as the No. 4 top-performing school nationwide.

In the August 2025 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination, Marc Juriel Laserna Masangkay, RMT, secured 5th place with a rating of 92.20%.

The college posted a 98.02% passing rate for its first-time takers.

The university also celebrated success in the field of interior design, with Marben East Clarito Bonifacio, IDr., placing 8th in the July 2025 Interior Designers Licensure Examination with a rating of 83.45%.

Most recently, in the November 2025 Nurses Licensure Examination, USA earned a 95.33% overall passing rate.

Angelica B. Ciudadano, RN, placed 10th with a rating of 92.00%, leading 388 newly licensed Augustinian registered nurses into the profession.

These achievements across healthcare and design reflect the dedication of USA students and the enduring commitment of faculty to holistic and excellent education.
