The UPV School of Technology (SOTECH) emerged as one of the top-performing schools in the November 2024 Chemical Engineering Licensure Examination (ChELE) held from November 20 to 22, 2024.
The school achieved a 100% passing rate, with all 21 examinees earning their licenses. This accomplishment placed the university in the top spot, alongside UP Diliman and De La Salle University (DLSU). The national passing rate stood at 72.34%.
This marks the first time UPV SOTECH has been recognized as a top-performing school since the program’s inception. The school previously ranked third in the May 2024 licensure examination, attaining a 92% passing rate.
