The UPV Museum of Art and Cultural Heritage (MACH) received another artwork donation. Prof. Juanito Karl P. Roque turned over his mixed media painting, titled “Green Moon Dreamers” to the University’s art collection.
Prof. Roque is a senior faculty of the UP Cebu Fine Arts program where he has been teaching for the past 35 years. He served as the Humanities Division Chairperson, the Arts and Humanities Cluster Chairperson, and the first Dean of the College of Communication, Art, and Design. He was a recipient of several Joya Art Awards and the Jose and Asuncion Joya Professorial Chair.
“Green Moon Dreamers” was previously exhibited at the Kasikas: the Visayas Exhibition of Bagong Biswal 2023, a National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Committee on Visual Arts Flagship Project, held at the Hanas Changing Exhibition Gallery 2 of the UPV MACH.
The painting can be viewed by the public at the New Acquisitions board near Lantip Changing Exhibition Gallery 1 of the UPV MACH. (OICA)
