The United City Football Club (former Ceres-Negros FC) confirmed that they just signed another international football talent in preparation for the upcoming 2021 AFC Champions League.
Jai Ingham, a New Zealand international and Brisbane Roar’s superstar winger, just signed with United City to further beef up their roster.
Standing in at 5-foot-11, Ingham is one of the most in-demand talents overseas and still has a lot of potential to unlock at the age of 27.
UCFC is proud to have Jai join the UCFC squad in May when we get ready for our inaugural AFC Champions League participation,” the statement read.
The young star has a wide vast of experience playing internationally with stints in Olympic FC, Hume City, Melbourne, Central Coast, and Brisbane Roar.
Ingham was the 14th player that the squad signed, joining Marky Hartmann, Justin Baas, and Curt Dizon.
The United City was eager to sign big-time talents to fill in the shoes that OJ Porteria, Manu Ott, and Robert Lopez Mendy left especially that the AFC league is nearing along with the 2021 Philippines Football League (PFL).
