BACOLOD City – A body of an unidentified man sealed in a sack was found near a swamp at Purok Malipayon, Barangay 35 here yesterday.
Major Jovil Sedel, head of Police Station 1, said a child who was passing by the area found the sack around 9:30 a.m. and discovered the lifeless body of the victim.
Sedel said the victim had a yellow nylon tied around his neck, indicating that he was probably strangled.
He also had a head injury from a possible bullet wound and an eye injury after probably being hit by a hard object, the station commander added.

He said they cannot tell yet if he was a victim of summary execution because they have yet to determine the injuries that caused his death.
