BACOLOD City – A man was hacked to death by his uncle in a liquor-drinking session at Purok Guinam-an, Barangay Minoyan, Murcia, Negros Occidental last Monday.
The victim was identified as Lito Pabrua, 42, of the said village.
According to the police, the victim and the suspect identified as 59-year-old Francisco Roce were drinking liquor at the latter’s house, when they figured in an argument.
Roce then allegedly hacked his nephew several times with a bolo.
Roce surrendered to the barangay officials and was later turned over to the police.
Police said the commotion stemmed from a previous misunderstanding between the victim and the suspect.
