AFTER submitting Dustin Poirier in three rounds, undisputed UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov once again proved the world that he is the best in the world.
A day after the Nurmagomedov-Poirier fight, former foe Conor McGregor put out statements that he wants to have a rematch with the lightweight champion.
Mcgregor tweeted, “Book my rematch for Moscow.”
With his drubbing loss to Nurmagomedov last 2018, McGregor never came back to the octagon and had multiple issues outside the sport.
Meanwhile, Dana White announced that it is Tony Ferguson who will be facing Nurmagomedov.
Ferguson, the former interim lightweight champion, has been stripped of his belt due to his knee injury that needed an operation.
The anticipated showdown between the two has evaded fans since 2015, and the MMA world wants to see it pushed through.
Can Nurmagomedov continue his unbeaten dominance in the UFC?
