BACOLOD City – A two-year-old boy died after he drowned in a water well at Hacienda Ledesma, Barangay Matab-ang, Talisay City, Negros Occidental last Monday.
The name of the minor-victim was withheld.
Based on police investigation, the victim and his 25-year-old mother visited their grandmother.
However, the victim’s mother was reportedly busy with her cellular phone and failed to notice her son.
After a while, she noticed that her son was missing. This prompted her to search for him until she found him drowned inside the well.
The victim was taken to a hospital but was declared dead.
