Two ‘wanted’ women collared

Two women facing criminal charges were arrested Thursday afternoon. Rebecca Alindato, 46, a housewife, was nabbed at her house in Barangay Calizo, Balete, Aklan around 2:10 p.m. of July 30. Two women facing criminal charges were arrested Thursday afternoon.
Rebecca Alindato, 46, a housewife, was nabbed at her house in Barangay Calizo, Balete, Aklan around 2:10 p.m. of July 30.
Alindato is accused of adultery in Criminal Case No. 3455-B.
Judge Lollie Ureta-Villaruel of the 2nd Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Banga-Libacao-Madalag, Aklan issued the warrant of arrest and set a P36,000 for her provisional liberty.
Alindato is now in the custody of Balete Police Station.
Meanwhile, members of the Iloilo City Police Station 6 arrested Thelma Abong, 69, of Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo, Iloilo City, around 2:20 p.m. of July 29.
The elderly woman was accused for light oral defamation docketed in Criminal Case No. 68-20.
A P3,000 bail bond was set for her temporary liberty.
