Two Wanted for Drugs, Theft Arrested in Capiz

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police arrested two individuals wanted for illegal drug trade and qualified theft in separate operations on Tuesday morning, Nov. 12.
The Ivisan police arrested a suspect known as “Toto,” 44, at his home in Barangay Ondoy, Ivisan, Capiz, for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco-Deslate of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 19, in Roxas City, on Nov. 11, 2024.
The court set no bail for Toto’s temporary release. He is currently held at the Ivisan police station for processing.
In a separate operation, Sapian police apprehended a 46-year-old woman, known as “Nene,” at her home in Barangay Majanlud, Sapian, Capiz.
Nene peacefully surrendered after police presented her with a warrant of arrest for qualified theft.
Judge Esperanza Isabel E. Poco-Deslate of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 19, in Roxas City, Capiz, issued her warrant on May 19, 2017.
The court recommended PHP 40,000 bail for her temporary release. Nene is currently held at the Sapian Municipal Police Station.
