Two vie for PCL-Capiz prexy

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two Sangguniang Bayan members of Pilar, Capiz are running for president of the Philippine Councilors’ League (PCL) Capiz chapter.
The candidates are SB members Mitchelle John Patricio and Angela Joy Alfaro-Tupaz.
The election will be held on September 9, 2019 at Kapis Mansyon Hotel in Brgy. Banica here.
Earlier, congressmen Emmanuel Tawi Billones of the first district and Fredenil Castro of the second district endorsed Patricio as PCL-Capiz president.
The winner will become an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Capiz.
Patricio was PCL-Capiz chapter president in 2013-2016.
Tupaz was elected No. 1 SB member while Mitch Patricio ranked fifth in the May 13, 2019 election.
Patricio is the son of former Pilar town mayors Gedeon Patricio and Rita Lyn Patricio.
Other candidates under Patricio’s lineup are: Quincy George Diangson (Mambusao)-vice president; Chriselle Joy Diaz (Maayon)-secretary general; Myrna Malecosio (Cuartero)-treasurer; Neriza Joy San Felix (Tapaz)-auditor; Catherine San Antonio (lvisan)-business manager; Gilbert Derramas (Dumalag)-press relation officer; Leila Mae Leonor (Jamindan), Dave Rainer Basiliano (Dumarao), Steve Hijosa (Cuartero), Thomas Lagulay (Sigma), Nonato Daradar (Panitan), Braulio Godfrey Asis (Pres. Roxas), and Regina Fancubila (Tapaz)- board of directors.
