BACOLOD City – Two wanted male teenagers were arrested by police in separate areas in Negros Occidental last Tuesday.
In Himamaylan City, police served an arrest warrant with no bail recommended for rape against a 19-year-old farmer in Barangay Talaban around 11:10 a.m.
The warrant was issued by Acting Presiding Judge Walter Zorilla of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 56 in Himamaylan City on January 15, 2024.
Later in the afternoon, another 19-year-old boy was also arrested in Barangay Zone 1, Cadiz City for the crime of statutory rape. He was tagged as the second most wanted person in the said city.
Presiding Judge Gwendolyn Ignalaga Jimenea of RTC Branch 60 in Cadiz City, issued the arrest warrant with no bail recommended signed on February 12, 2024.
