Two teens, six others detained in drug sting

BACOLOD City – Eight individuals, including two teenagers, were detained by police during separate buy-bust operations across Negros Occidental last Thursday.
In Silay City, a 37-year-old choreographer was taken into custody after being caught with 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at P102,000 in Barangay Rizal.
The police report states that the choreographer allegedly sold shabu to an undercover police agent for P3,800.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, the city police chief, noted that they initiated the drug bust operation based on reports from concerned citizens about his alleged illegal activities.
Darroca further mentioned that the suspect was also believed to be a supplier for other drug suspects who had been previously arrested.
Simultaneously, seven other individuals were also detained for drug offenses in the cities of Sagay, Talisay, Kabankalan, and Victorias, as well as in the municipalities of Hinigaran and E.B. Magalona.
