BACOLOD City – Six persons, including two male teenagers, were arrested for the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs here and in Negros Occidental from May 1 to 3.
Five of the arrested persons were busted in the province, with P72,828 worth of suspected shabu.
The buy-bust operations were conducted in the cities of San Carlos, Silay, and Talisay, where two men, including a 19-year-old student, were arrested with 1.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P10,200, and suspected dried marijuana leaves worth P180.
In Bacolod, another 19-year-old student was also apprehended with P650 worth of suspected marijuana in Barangay 40 last Tuesday.
According to the police, they acted on a report that the teenager was allegedly using and in possession of illegal drugs. He is detained at Police Station 6.
