Two motorcycle riders were killed following a collision early evening of June 21, 2020 at Buenavista, Guimaras.
Police identified the victims as Oliver Villanueva, 32, of Barangay San Enrique, Buenavista, and Jomar Cejo, 40, of Barangay Agsanayan, Buenavista.
Police Captain Jefrey Ferrer, Buenavista police chief, said Villanueva was on his way home with his wife when the accident happened.
The couple came from Jordan town and were heading to Barangay Piña when they collided with Cejo’s motorcycle.
Cejo was with his wife and their child.
Ferrer said both motorcycles were navigating a sharp curve when they collided.
Both drivers were rushed to the hospital, but they did not pull through.
Cejo’s wife and child were referred to a hospital in Iloilo City.
