BACOLOD City – Two motorcycle riders were gunned down by unidentified perpetrators at Sitio Galo, Barangay 5, Isabela, Negros Occidental yesterday.
Police Captain Ar-jay Dangarang, town police chief, said the victims have yet to be identified.
Dangarang said they received a report about a shooting incident around 11 a.m.
The crime scene is far from neighboring houses, so police have limited information regarding the incident.
He said they have no idea yet how the shooting happened. However, he said that they are backtracking the activities of the victims prior to the incident through a closed circuit television (CCTV) camera footage.
Dangarang said that based on the CCTV footage, the victims came from La Castellana town before they were killed.
Recovered from the crime scene were some fired bullets from an unknown firearm.
Investigation is ongoing.
