Gilbert Arca, 26, and Joeven Consumo, 25, were arrested in the hinterland village of Quipot, Janiuay
Arca was arrested 11:50 a.m. Monday and Consumo at 12:55 p.m.
Joint elements of the Janiuay Police Station, Provincial Intelligence Unit, and 603rd Mobile Force Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion nabbed the duo with the help of barangay officials.
Police Colonel Paul Kenneth Lucas, Iloilo police director, said Arca and Consumo are Iloilo’s No. 5 and 10 most wanted persons, respectively.
Both suspects were the subjects of an arrest warrant in Criminal Case No. 19-9288 issued by Assisting Judge Domingo Casiple of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68, Dumangas, Iloilo on July 16, 2019.
“I am proud that, despite our major concerns amidst the pandemic, our personnel remain dedicated in running after wanted persons,” Lucas said.
