BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested after police seized from them suspected shabu in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Negros Occidental in the past two days.
In Escalante City, Jhunmar Lopez, 31, of Barangay Mabini was apprehended in a drug bust at the said village last Tuesday.
Police confiscated from him two sachets of suspected shabu worth P340, and the P500 marked money.
The following day in Silay City, 24-year-old Stephen Silva was arrested, while his companion was able to escape from the police operatives, after they were caught allegedly engaging in an illegal drug activity at Barangay 1.
Police recovered from Silva five grams of suspected shabu worth P20,000.
