BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested for alleged sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs in Negros Occidental last Thursday.
In La Carlota City, John Micheal Virgo, 29, of Barangay RSB was apprehended in a buy-bust at Barangay 2.
Police seized from Virgo five sachets of suspected shabu worth PHP1,686.40, and the PHP500 marked money.
In Talisay City, Rodel Junto, 54, of Barangay Zone 5 was arrested in a drug bust in the said village.
Police recovered from him eight sachets of suspected shabu worth PHP17,000, the PHP500 marked money, and PHP1,020.
Both suspects will be facing drug charges.
