BACOLOD City – Two male teenagers, who were among the topmost wanted persons in Western Visayas, were arrested in Talisay City, Negros Occidental last week.
On Aug 8, 2020 the third most wanted person of the Regional Highway Patrol Group was arrested at Barangay Zone 4.
The suspect was a 17-year-old boy, who has an arrest warrant for alleged violation of Republic Act 10883 (New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016) issued by Judge Sue Lynn Lowie-Jolingan of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) here.
The court set a P180,000 bail for his provisional liberty, a report from Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 indicated.
The minor-suspect was turned over to the custody of the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD).
Meanwhile, the second most wanted person in the region was also apprehended in the same city last Friday.
Police identified the suspect as Ronnie Solibio, 19, of Barangay Zone 10 who is also wanted for carnapping charges.
Solibio is now in the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Negros Occidental here.
