Two ‘notorious robbers’ face multiple raps

BACOLOD City – Two persons believed to be notorious robbers in Barangay Mansablay, Isabela, Negros Occidental will be facing three charges after they robbed a couple’s house in the said village last Friday.
Captain Joseph Partidas, town police chief, identified the suspects as Benjie Nanar, 24, and Sunny Tubalde, 32.
Partidas said the suspects were cornered by the village watchmen when they allegedly carted away a cellular phone and a fighting cock.
Police recovered from them the stolen items, a homemade shotgun, two live ammunitions, and a sachet of suspected shabu.
Partidas said the suspects will be facing charges for robbery, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
Partidas said both suspects were identified to be responsible in some robbery incidents in the said village.
“Sila gid ni gapanaka-naka sa mga balay dira, pero naubos gid ila buenas sang nadakpan sila ka mga tanod,” he added.
