Two nabbed in Roxas City drug bust

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Two individuals were arrested on Monday afternoon, September 9, in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Tiza.
The Roxas City Police arrested Aldrin Bermudo, 36, of Barangay Tiza, and alias Jemmer, 35, of Barangay 1, both from Roxas City.
However, the target of the operation, John Marten Legaspi, 35, of Barangay Tiza, managed to flee.
Both suspects denied involvement in using or selling illegal drugs.
Police recovered three sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of P45,000, P5,000 in buy-bust money, and several drug paraphernalia from the two suspects.
The two are currently in the custody of the Roxas City Police for proper disposition.
