Two nabbed in Kabankalan drug bust, ₱142K worth of shabu seized

BACOLOD CITY – Police apprehended two individuals in a drug bust in Barangay Linao, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, on Monday, seizing ₱142,800 worth of suspected shabu.
According to the police, a 29-year-old man allegedly conspired with a 39-year-old resident of Kabankalan City to sell shabu to an undercover police officer for ₱500.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Indiape Jr., Kabankalan City Police chief, stated that the younger suspect, who is a resident of Ilog town, is listed on a drug watchlist in his hometown.
Authorities confiscated 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 21 grams from the suspects, who are both classified as street-level individuals according to police reports.
Indiape noted that this is the first time either of the suspects has been arrested for a drug-related offense.
