Two nabbed in illegal drug bust

BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here and in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental over the weekend.

Roy Guillero, 39, of Barangay 27 here was apprehended at Barangay 28 here last Saturday, a report from Bacolod City Police Office said.

Police seized from Guillero eight sachets of suspected shabu worth PHP10,400, the PHP500 marked money, and PHP340.

In Cadiz City, Reynaldo Descalsota Jr., 40, of Barangay Daga was arrested in the said village last Sunday, according to a report from Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.

Police recovered from Descalsota five sachets of suspected shabu worth PHP2,040, and the PHP500 marked money.

Both suspects will be facing drug charges.
